JAWS For Windows Seven

Hi. Yes, I'm getting the demo for JAWS, so I can upgrade. I need to know, if you used XP, what commands are different? I admit I don't know what I'm doing, but you folks are my best hope. Rehab is being prudes to me, and I'm sick of playing games. So, starting with a demo is the best I can do.
Really, what scares me, is the new commands. Something about typing stuff out, like: "Internet Explosion," or whatever it is. I don't know how to spell geek stuff. I spell things I do not know by sound. So, how if I have to spell something like Fire Fox, and don't know how it's spelled? Then I can't get into the program.
Any help is appreciated.
Blessings
Me

there's no way you'll be running jaws17 on windows xp. I think the latest version to support XP was Jaws14.

No. I want to run JAWS whatever number, on 7. I want to know how tow it's different, and the changes and all.

Its not that much different than XP.
If you want you can still find the items on your desktop. Hell its that way with windows 10 too.

It will be similar.
XP and Windows 7 Windows keystrokes aren't different.
You might have some new, but it will be same to you.
Windows is Windows.

Must be why me bro decided 7 was best. He's about as smart as they come.
I once told someone we both knew in school: "My brother gets paid for what he used to get busted for in school; rebuilding computers."
I got a good laugh.
Thanks folks. I know who's shoulder to find, if I get stuck. LOL

the only thing you really need to get used to in windows 7, well two things. The start menu has a search box in it. so as soon as you open it and you start typing the name of a file or program, then arrow down it will come up with matches for you. Helpful when you only remember part of a name. But if you don't type anything at all, and just arrow normally, the start menu is exactly the same. Also, User account control. It prevents programs and scripts from making changes to your system without you letting it. What will happen is, if you run a setup of a program, or something tries to do something, you will hear a little ping, then a box will pop up onto your screen. It will tell you what program is trying to change things, then it will give you options to pick yes or no.

Sounds great! I was afraid my spelling would lock me out of the start menu. LOL
Thanks!
